Happy Mother's Day!

Taylor wants to wish her Nana, Ray Ray, Great Grandma, Great Nana, and all of her wonderful Aunts and Great Aunts, Happy Mother's Day!! She loves you all!

Saturdays are the best!

After being away for 5 days, it's been awesome just having a normal weekend day full of errands, beautiful weather and an afternoon at the park. I grabbed the camera on our way out the door and caught a bunch of action shots of Taylor just being a kid :)

We went to visit Taylor's buddy, Tyler, a couple weekends ago and they had so much fun playing together. They were best buds by the end of the night. Taylor still asks if we're going back to visit Tyler. Yes, we will soon!!

Here they are pretending they're on their way to school on a bus. A beautiful rendition of the "Wheels on the Bus" even erupted! (Taylor also decided to take Tyler's Elmo slippers for a test drive...I think she would have worn them right home if we didn't notice)

This is right around 8:45pm...when they've run and hopped and giggled themselves out, there's always Dora to put them in a trance and settle down!

Taylor Heads to the Salon

Taylor met Melissa, Mama's hair stylist, today! She did great - was so patient and sat in the chair like everyone else in the salon. This morning we told her she was going to get her haircut and all day was asking, "getting my haircut now, Mama? going to get haircut, Dada?" She was ready.

Here she is sitting in the chair. She loved the cape with the goofy cartoon characters, which was a plus. When Melissa needed her to look down, I just told her 'look at the guys now!'

Looks like we need to say good bye to the curls, but I love that she still has a little wave at the end. I'm calling the whole experience a success, and Taylor is still talking about her trip to the salon.
